Crypto payments in n8n

An n8n community node for SnapEX Pay. Create crypto invoices from any workflow and start a workflow when an invoice is paid. Customers pay in USDT (TRC20, ERC20, BEP20) or other supported coins on the SnapEX Pay page; the trigger verifies each webhook signature and can re-read the invoice from the API before your workflow continues.

What it does

SnapEX Pay action node (also usable as an AI agent tool): Create Invoice returns invoice_id, status and pay_url; Get Invoice returns the current invoice.
Every create request carries an Idempotency-Key; with an External ID a retry returns the same invoice instead of creating a second one.
SnapEX Pay Trigger starts a workflow on invoice.paid (default) and other invoice events; events you did not select are acknowledged and ignored.
The trigger checks the HMAC-SHA256 signature, rejects timestamps more than 5 minutes off and answers 401 to a bad signature, so no workflow runs. With Re-Fetch Invoice on, the invoice is re-read from the API.
Tested with n8n 2.42.6, no runtime dependencies. Environment = test for simulated payments that never move funds.

Install

In the n8n nodes folder (~/.n8n/nodes, in Docker /home/node/.n8n/nodes) run npm install https://pay.snapex.pro/downloads/n8n/n8n-nodes-snapex-pay-1.0.0.tgz and restart n8n.
Create a SnapEX Pay API credential: the API key from the SnapEX Pay cabinet → Developers (scopes invoices.read and invoices.write). Test in the credential dialog checks the key.
Add SnapEX Pay Trigger to a workflow, pick the events and copy the node's Production URL.
In the cabinet → Developers → Webhook paste that URL and save, then copy the whsec_… secret into the credential's Webhook Secret.
Activate the workflow. Build with Environment = test; deliver goods only when invoice.status is paid.

Settings

API Key	SnapEX Pay cabinet → Developers → Merchant API key, scopes `invoices.read` and `invoices.write`.
Webhook Secret	The `whsec_…` secret shown when you save the webhook URL. Required by the trigger only.
Create Invoice	Amount USD (the minimum is set by SnapEX Pay), External ID, Description, Success and Cancel URL, Fee Paid By, Environment, Expires In (1–1440 minutes).
Trigger events	`invoice.paid`, `invoice.partially_paid`, `invoice.underpaid`, `invoice.expired`, `invoice.extra_payment`, `invoice.created`, `invoice.awaiting`.

How do I avoid double fulfilment?

SnapEX Pay retries a delivery that did not get a 2xx response, so make fulfilment idempotent with webhook_id or invoice_id, and deliver only when invoice.status is paid.

Can I use it in an AI agent?

Yes. The SnapEX Pay action node can be used as an AI agent tool.

Why does activation fail?

The trigger needs the Webhook Secret in the credential; activation fails with a clear message if it is missing.
