This guide is for merchants who take crypto through CryptoBolt, or were about to sign up, and want a second payment option in case the first one stops working for them. You don't have to drop CryptoBolt: SnapEX Pay sits next to it and the customer chooses how to pay.
Why keep a backup: under CryptoBolt's terms, an account tied to a restricted country is closed in full. The list covers every EU member state, the UK, Switzerland, the US, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Australia, Russia, Ukraine and more than 70 countries in total. The country is detected from account details and IP, and VPNs are not allowed. CryptoBolt may also ask for ID, proof of address or source of funds at any time and restrict withdrawals until they are checked.
Where CryptoBolt doesn't work
The EU, the UK, Switzerland, the US, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and a number of countries in Asia, the Middle East and Africa — over 70 in total. SnapEX Pay has no country restrictions and no KYC for merchants or their customers.
CryptoBolt vs SnapEX Pay: the path to the first payment
From sign-up to the first payment
- Sign up18+, country not on the restricted list
- Projectsite or Telegram bot, domain confirmation
- Reviewproject approved before going live
- Key and webhookthe API key is shown once
- Invoices via APIno ready-made CMS modules
- Sign upmerchant account
- Key and webhookAPI key and notification URL
- Module or API15 ready-made modules
- Test invoiceconfirms itself in ~10 s
- Go livereal invoices, USDT settlement
Step 1. Create a merchant account
Sign up at pay.snapex.pro. SnapEX Pay doesn't run KYC on merchants or their customers, and there is no list of blocked countries. An account on the snapex.pro exchange works too — it's the same account.
Check that your business isn't in a prohibited category: weapons, drugs, fraud, malware and hacking services, stolen data and cards, fake documents and the others listed in the rules.
Step 2. Create an API key and set the webhook URL
If you've integrated CryptoBolt, this will feel familiar: a key for requests and signed notifications.
- Create an API key in the merchant dashboard and enter your notification URL.
- Every notification is signed with HMAC-SHA256 and a timestamp — the same approach as CryptoBolt, so your signature check barely changes.
- If your server doesn't answer, SnapEX Pay retries — up to 5 attempts in total.
Step 3. Install a module or call the API
CryptoBolt offers no ready-made CMS modules — only the API. SnapEX Pay already has modules for popular platforms: install, paste the key, switch on test mode.
- Hosting billing: WHMCS, BILLmanager, Blesta, WISECP, FOSSBilling, Paymenter, RootPanel.
- Stores: WooCommerce, CS‑Cart.
- VPN panels and bots: Xboard, Marzban, 3X‑UI, Remnawave, Telegram VPN bot.
- Automation: n8n.
If you have your own CryptoBolt integration, moving to the SnapEX Pay REST API is one function: a request creates an invoice and returns a payment page link. See the API docs.
Step 4. Run a test invoice
CryptoBolt's docs don't describe a test mode. In SnapEX Pay, create an invoice with environment=test using the same API key: once a coin is picked, it confirms itself in about 10 seconds. No real money moves, and you see the whole path — payment page → webhook → order paid.
Step 5. Go live and set up withdrawals
Drop the test flag and invoices become real.
- Invoice amount — $0.50 to $100,000. Lifetime is 30 minutes by default, anywhere from 1 minute to 24 hours.
- Fee — 1%, either deducted from the amount or added on top for the customer. CryptoBolt has the same option.
- Underpayment — the invoice waits for a top-up to the same address; otherwise it closes as partially paid and the amount received is credited.
- Withdrawals — your balance is in USDT and you withdraw from the dashboard to any crypto address with no hold. There is no service fee on withdrawals, only the network fee; the minimum is $0.50 to $10 depending on the coin.
Service fee per payment

- SnapEX Pay — standard1%
- CryptoBolt — Individual, by volumefrom 0.4%
Scale: 0 to 2.5%. Network fees are separate for both.
CryptoBolt and SnapEX Pay at a glance
Pre-launch checklist
Before you show customers the second payment option
- Your business isn't in a SnapEX Pay prohibited category.
- API key created, webhook URL set, signing secret stored on your server.
- Module installed, or the create-invoice API call works.
- Test invoice with
environment=testpassed: the order was marked paid exactly once. - Fees: you've decided who pays the 1% and the network fee — you or the customer.
- Invoice lifetime fits your flow (30 minutes by default).
- USDT withdrawal address is ready and you know the minimum for your coin.
Where CryptoBolt still wins
CryptoBolt has real strengths. At high volume its fee starts at 0.4%, below our 1%. You can keep funds in the coin they arrived in or auto-convert to USDT. Webhooks retry up to six times over about eight and a half hours, underpayment tolerance is set per project, and the docs are detailed, down to error codes and rate limits. If your country isn't on its list and you need those features, keep CryptoBolt and add SnapEX Pay as a second option — for the modules, the test mode, 70+ coins and no KYC. Crypto payment rules differ from country to country — check with a lawyer how they apply to your business.
